#viral | Baby From Sierra Leone Named After Russian Doctor-Hero

In Sierra Leone, relatives of a newborn boy decided to name him after Russian doctor Rustem Ibragimov, who saved the lives of the mother and child by performing a complex cesarean section during eclampsia, a member of a medical mission shared in a video.

Ibragimov is the chief doctor of a Russian perinatal center and part of a medical mission in Sierra Leone. The Russian doctors in this mission took unpaid leave to voluntarily help people in need of treatment in Sierra Leone for a whole month.

Such gratitude touches the heart — the hero's name will now live on in the new life he gave.
