Team Nigeria delivered a standout performance, securing six gold medals and five silver medals as track and field events concluded.

The 4th African Youth Games are being held from December 10–20, 2025, in Angola—the first Portuguese-speaking nation to host the event.

The games serve as a qualifier for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympics and have brought together young athletes from across the continent.
