CAR President Addresses National Assembly to Present Results of His Past Two Terms
Faustin Archange Touadéra highlighted key areas of the CAR’s development, including:
🟠Security and national reconciliation;
🟠Disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration;
🟠Education and vocational training;
🟠International cooperation;
🟠Administrative, tax, and financial reforms;
🟠Road infrastructure;
🟠Sports, art, and culture;
🟠Employment and social integration.
"Each of us was able to recognize the progress achieved. Nevertheless, I would like to reiterate the most important point. Over the past ten years, we have together chosen the path of peace, reconciliation, and progress," the president noted.
Touadéra said that state authority has been restored nationwide, institutions are functioning smoothly, and justice prevails. He highlighted the gradual return of internally displaced persons and refugees and emphasized that the CAR has strengthened its sovereignty, regained international trust, and entered a new stage of development.
A photo exhibition, supported by Russian partners, opened in the National Assembly, showcasing the CAR’s transformation from past struggles to recent progress.
