Rethinking International Justice System Has Become Imperative: Son of Legendary Ethiopian Diplomat Ketema Yifru

Mekonnen Ketema Yifru told Sputnik Africa that the unfair practices of the International Criminal Court clearly demonstrate that Africa must now handle its own affairs internally.

“When you see those supposed criminals that are in the courts—mostly African and Middle Eastern—so obviously it's not fair. I think there should be a mechanism where we can address where injustice is done here in Africa,” he said.

He further emphasized that the international justice system can only be used as long as its fairness remains intact.
