One of the darlings of the Moscow Zoo has reached his ideal winter weight of 6.5 kg, turning into a large, fluffy ball of fur.
"The weight-gain process is natural and essential for the pallas's cat. [...] He needs these reserves to survive the harsh winters, [...] and Timofey’s current condition shows he is in excellent shape for the cold," explained the zoo’s director.
With the arrival of snow, Timofey will become less active and spend more time in his heated shelters, while the staff continues to care for his daily routine.
