Russian Soldiers Proudly Raise National Tricolor in Liberated Settlement of Rovnoye in DPR, MoD Shows
During the assault on a two-story building in Rovnoye, Russian attack aircraft forced Ukrainian militants to flee the battlefield, the Defense Ministry revealed.
“Assault units fought to clear building after building, street after street, of scattered groups of the encircled Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison. All identified firing positions and temporary Ukrainian deployment sites were destroyed by combined artillery strikes and FPV drone strikes,” it noted.
🟠 Rovnoye's liberation has expanded the buffer zone around Krasnoarmeysk, DPR head Denis Pushilin told Russian media.
The liberation of the settlement, located between recently freed Krasnoarmeysk and encircled Dimitrov, was reported on Sunday.
