So, it's a no-brainer for me to think of how to advance medical care in my country. And I believe that any advancement that I achieve first, I will motivate others to do the same in their various fields, and also set an example that it's possible to do that. […] So, the narrative has to change, and I want the world to take notice that in Nigeria we're on the move and there is a revolution that is taking place in the medical landscape and I just want the world to pay attention to that,” Dr. Ekwueme expressed.
