Hackers Expose Identities of Ukrainian Soldiers Linked to Attack on Russian Tanker
Pro-Russian groups Beregini, Killnet, and Kiber Serp told Sputnik they had hacked a Ukrainian Navy Command computer.
They provided the agency with an almost complete list of personnel from the 385th Naval Unmanned Surface Vehicles Brigade (military unit A4770) of the Ukrainian Navy.
This unit was behind the recent attacks on several merchant ships in Turkey’s Exclusive Economic Zone in the Black Sea, including the Russian tanker Midvolga-2, which occurred on December 2, according to the hacker groups. Two other tankers, one flying the Gambian flag, were targeted on November 28 and 29.
Turkey's Foreign Ministry expressed concern over these attacks, which threaten navigation safety and the environment.
Moscow described these operations as acts of terrorism intended to derail any dialogue, provoke escalation, and violate Turkey’s sovereignty.
