Russia, Burundi Sign Parliamentary Cooperation Agreement in Moscow
State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin held talks with Gélase Daniel Ndagijimana, Chairman of Burundi’s National Assembly, focusing on strengthening interparliamentary relations between the countries, the chamber's statement said.
"We together advocate building a multipolar world and a just world order," Volodin emphasized, adding that Burundi is a long-time friend of Russia.
Russia-Burundi cooperation develops largely thanks to high-level dialogue, he highlighted.
The signed document covers various spheres, including economic and humanitarian interaction, Ndagijimana noted.
"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the President of the Russian Federation on how you are managing the situation now. We are following the situation and wish you victory and only victory," he added.
