Zimbabwe Records 20% Growth in Foreign Currency Receipts Over Nine-Month Period: Minister
Foreign currency inflows for the first nine months were estimated at $12 billion, with export receipts making up 59.2% of the total, Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion Minister Mthuli Ncube noted.
The economy is still on a solid upward path, performing well, he stressed.
“The growth was primarily driven by increases in export receipts, diaspora remittances, and loans to the private sector,” Ncube emphasized.
The government expects the full-year surplus to reach $1.3 billion in 2025, the minister added.
