The technology, hailed by officials as a crucial milestone, promises substantial gains in food production efficiency, delivering nutrients more effectively in smaller doses to increase yields while improving soil health.
This strategic move toward agricultural innovation addresses Botswana's long-term goals of reducing import dependency and building resilience against global supply disruptions, according to officials.
The program includes
establishing local manufacturing facilities to ensure cost-effective supply;
comprehensive farmer training programs for proper application.
