Umaro Sissoco Embaló has arrived in Senegal, Sputnik Africa correspondent reports
On November 26, media announced that the outgoing president of Guinea-Bissau had been arrested three days after the presidential election. Umaro Sissoco Embaló and his rival Fernando Dias both claimed the victory.
Fernando Dias later accused President Embaló of "fabricating" a coup d'état.
On November 27, General Horta N'Tam was inaugurated as the "Transitional President" in Guinea-Bissau for a period of one year, according to media reports.
