Russia — Africa’s Long-Standing and Primary Partner, Says Angola’s President
João Lourenço emphasized that Moscow provides Africa with both military-technical and political support.
Russia played a decisive role in the liberation movements of African countries when many nations on the continent were colonies of European states, he noted, speaking at a press conference following the 7th AU–EU Summit.
The chairperson of the African Union stressed that Russia stood firmly on the side of African peoples in their struggle.
