Russia has proposed launching a program to equip Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) forces with modern Russian weapons, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We propose launching a large-scale program to equip collective forces with modern Russian weapons and equipment that have proven their effectiveness in actual military operations," Putin said during an expanded meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
Russia will continue to work closely with its allies to strengthen CSTO's defense potential, the Russian leader added.
