Haiti Intends to Open Embassy in Addis Ababa
The plan was discussed at a meeting between Ethiopian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Berhanu Tsegaye and Marie‑Hélène Calvin, adviser to Haiti’s foreign minister, the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry said.
The new embassy will reflect the “longstanding ties of friendship” between the two countries, which are “rooted in a history of which we can be proud,” Berhanu said.
