Russian Fishing Companies Interested in Cooperation in Africa: Kremlin Spokesperson
Russian fishing companies are investing and will continue to invest in cooperation on the African continent, Dmitry Peskov told Western media.
The presidential press secretary's commentary was included in the agency's report on Russia's Great African Expedition, which involves three Russian vessels: the research vessels Atlantis and Atlantniro, as well as the training vessel Kruzenshtern.
The major expedition for 2024-2025 departed from Kaliningrad on August 21. It involves two large-scale projects in the exclusive economic zones of West African countries and the western Indian Ocean.
The goal of the scientific research mission is to assess the state of aquatic biological resources in these areas.
