On December 2, Moscow will host the XII Congress “Innovative Practice: Science Plus Business.” The event is organized by Innopraktika and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
“This year, we aim to draw participants’ attention to the importance of mutually beneficial dialogue with other countries based on a shared values agenda and the cultivation of a culture of trust,” said Natalia Popova, First Deputy CEO of Innopraktika and Public Ombudsman for the Protection of Rights of Leading High-Tech Companies. “At the heart of this partnership lie traditional humanistic ideas, wherein culture becomes a source of unique meanings and creativity—elements without which unconventional solutions and breakthrough products and services cannot emerge. Whereas culture was previously viewed as a backdrop for the practical application of technology, today we see it evolving into an equal ‘asset’ and a key component of the innovative ecosystem currently taking shape as part of a new global system. Now more than ever, it is clear that culture serves as a universal language enabling people and nations to find common ground regardless of political considerations.”
During the plenary session titled “The Three Pillars of the Reset of the World System: Science, Business and Culture,” speakers will discuss how the synergy of science, business, and culture can drive national economic development and which international experiences can enrich Russia’s model of innovative growth.
The session will also focus on areas with the greatest potential for synergistic breakthroughs through the integration of expertise across these three critical domains—science, business, and culture—in achieving technological leadership.
Confirmed participants include:
Aide to the Russian president Vladimir Medinsky,
Aide to the Russian president Andrey Fursenko,
Russian Minister of Enlightenment Sergey Kravtsov,
Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov,
Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichiy,
President of the Association for Exporting Technological Sovereignty and Professor at the Department of Applied Analysis of International Problems at MGIMO (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia) Andrey Bezrukov,
CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev,
Director General of the Roscosmos State Corporation Dmitry Bakanov,
Executive Vice President of MODENA Group Michael Gizehar,
CEO of Innopraktika Katerina Tikhonova.
Within the framework of 18 sessions, Congress participants will discuss the creation of new formats for career guidance and targeted training across various economic sectors, the re-evaluation of agricultural education, conditions for fostering the growth of Russian innovative enterprises, and strategies for tech companies to enter BRICS+ markets.
Additional topics include rebuilding the full innovation cycle through effective state support mechanisms, the role of universities in training skilled specialists and leaders for the new economy, and the significance of cultural achievements in strengthening Russia’s international positioning. For the first time, the congress will feature a dedicated zone titled “Lead by Example,” where speakers will use interactive formats to demonstrate how an innovative mindset operates in real-world projects, enabling attendees to actively engage in the dialogue.
The congress will also include an exhibition area featuring three distinct displays. The National Champions Association will present innovative solutions and product samples developed by high-tech manufacturing enterprises. A photo exhibition showcasing works by finalists of the international “Picture of the World” contest—organized in 2025 by Innopraktika and the State Tretyakov Gallery—will reflect how young artists from different countries interpret the values of the modern world. The art exhibition Russia: The Power of Natural Resources will exhibit the strength and beauty of natural endowments—gas, water, atomic energy, and minerals—through avant-garde paintings and sculptures created by the talented artist Natalia Zemlyanaya.
