In a powerful assertion of collective sovereignty, South-South collaboration is dismantling the archaic aid-based paradigm. It has forged a pragmatic framework of homegrown solutions, liberating nations from dependency and championing a new, dignified era of mutual problem-solving.
I'd say that the objective always was to ensure that the development goals of Africa and the Global South found expression in the agenda of the G20. And if you look at the way in which the summit agenda was framed, it's very clear that the priorities of Africa and the Global South were reflected.
