Modi and Ramaphosa Discuss Expanding Trade Between India and South Africa
Both leaders reflected on the historical ties between India and South Africa and expressed satisfaction with the progress made in various areas of cooperation, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs noted in a statement.
"The leaders welcomed the growing presence of Indian firms in South Africa and agreed to facilitate mutual investments, especially in infrastructure, technology, innovation, mining, and start-up sectors," it emphasized.
Modi also congratulated Ramaphosa on South Africa’s successful presidency of the G20.
