Corruption Scandal in Ukraine — Key Updates as of Now
Putin commented on the corruption scandal in Ukraine, saying representatives of the Kiev regime “sit on golden pots” and do not care about Ukraine’s fate or its soldiers.
The corruption scandal in Ukraine was no surprise to Russia, UN envoy Nebenzia stated. “We have told you at nearly every meeting that you are dealing with a corrupt, thieving gang profiting from the war with your money.”
Kiev reportedly removed a clause from the US 28-point peace plan that could have exposed corruption in Ukraine.
Zelensky, after a meeting with the “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction, refused to dismiss his chief of staff, Yermak.
“Corruption is normal — it happens everywhere,” Zelensky claimed, according to media sources within the “Servant of the People” faction.
Ex-Ukrainian PM Mykola Azarov stated that Zelensky was aware of Yermak’s crimes and supported him, and that Ukraine’s anti-corruption watchdog should open a criminal case against Zelensky for corruption.
If Zelensky does not remove Yermak, Ukraine will have an inevitable parliamentary crisis, a US media outlet reported, citing sources in Ukrainian political circles.
