Construction of the nuclear power plant, with Russian participation, “is progressing successfully.”
In the near future, it will begin generating electricity.
Commissioning the plant will significantly strengthen Egypt’s energy security.
Russia will provide assistance to Egypt at every stage of implementing the nuclear project.
Relations between Moscow and Cairo are based on equality, respect, and mutual consideration of interests.
Putin wished President El-Sisi a happy birthday and expressed his hope that Egypt would have “atomic energy in all its projects.”
