No Russian representative will be present in Istanbul on Wednesday, the Kremlin spokesperson says
Moscow has received no information from Kiev regarding its intention to resume negotiations, Dmitry Peskov stated.
Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, is scheduled to travel to Turkey tomorrow, with talks with Zelensky on his agenda, media earlier reported.
More statements made by Peskov:
🟠Russia remains open to negotiations, and Moscow's position is well known to the US, Turkey, and Ukraine;
🟠Putin is open to discussions if Witkoff or Turkish government representatives deem it necessary to inform them about the meetings in Istanbul;
🟠There are no concrete plans for Putin's contacts with Witkoff or Turkish government representatives at this time;
🟠Europeans are rightly concerned about Kiev's funding; after the corruption scandal, it is clear that most of the funds will be embezzled.
