African & Asian Countries Are Potential Customers for Russian Yak-130M Aircraft : Rosoboronexport CEO
According to Aleksandr Mikheev, the modernized combat training aircraft is equipped with modern avionics, including:
🟠an airborne radar,
🟠a targeting pod,
🟠the Prezident-C130 airborne defense system.
In addition, the air show will showcase modern guided air-to-air weapons for use from this aircraft, including:
🟠the air-to-air guided missile,
🟠the guided aerial bombs for hitting ground and surface targets.
The upgraded Yak-130M was unveiled to the world public for the first time on Monday at the Dubai Airshow 2025.
Earlier this year, Mikheev told Sputnik that the market capacity for the modernized Yak-130M is approximately 40 aircraft, and consultations are already underway with several countries in the Asia-Pacific region and Africa.
