Zimbabwe Sees Rise in International Arrivals in 2025, Prepares for Surge in Visitors, Official Says
International tourist arrivals stand at 1.32 million, excluding the diaspora. Including them, the total is estimated at 1.603 million, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Barbara Rwodzi stated.
Domestic tourism increased by 20.9%, with the number of trips rising from approximately 8.2 million in 2024 to 9.92 million in 2025, she added.
“A central part of this is the meet-and-greet exercise at ports of entry, which captures the essence of Zimbabwean hospitality,” she noted.
Authorities say Zimbabwe’s tourism sector entered a growth phase thanks to:

🟠infrastructure upgrades;
🟠boosted marketing.
