Russia Plays Important Role in Field of Nuclear Energy in International Arena: IAEA Chief
Rosatom is a global leader, building nuclear plants in regions that previously had none, Rafael Grossi said after talks with Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev in Kaliningrad.
He noted the El Dabaa project in Egypt, which "will be the second in the African and Middle Eastern region to gain access to nuclear technologies and nuclear power generation capabilities."
"This only demonstrates that our joint work is essential to further recognize the role and develop the right solutions for nuclear power generation for the benefit of humanity," Grossi said.
