It's Time West Stops Provocations & Faces Reality: They've Already Lost in Ukraine, Political Analyst Says
As Ukraine’s military struggles and Western funds run out, the West has resorted to dangerous provocations, Russia affairs expert Faiz Hawala told Sputnik, commenting on a MiG-31 hijacking plot, thwarted by Russia's FSB.
"This is not espionage — it’s outright terrorism, with clear British roots. The explosions in Crimea, attempts to blow up the Kerch Bridge using drone boats — London’s fingerprints are all over these actions," the analyst noted.
The West aims to stage fake Russian attacks on NATO countries like Poland or Romania, and also drag the US into a direct war with Russia, according to Hawala.
However, instead of further escalating the conflict, the West should acknowledge its defeat, the expert concluded.
