Peoples of AES Are in 'Revolution Mode,' Official Says
The people of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger strongly support their leaders, Secretary General of the Directorate of the Confederation of the Peoples of the AES, Hayouba Ouattara, said.
This support stems from the leaders’"historic audacity to defend the real sovereignty and independence of the Sahel states," he emphasized.
Protection of public goods, described by Ouattara as "the cornerstone of any authentic revolution," is essential, the official told local media.
He also praised Ibrahim Traoré, who since 2022 has made fighting corruption and promoting social discipline his top priorities.
This guiding principle now inspires millions of young people across the Sahel, Ouattara stressed.
