The Secretary of the Russian Security Council was received this Monday by Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo, according to the Egyptian president's administration.

🟠The Egyptian president conveyed his greetings to Vladimir Putin, expressing Egypt's appreciation for the close, constant, and dynamic relations between the two countries;
🟠Sergey Shoigu conveyed the Russian president's greetings to his Egyptian counterpart, emphasizing Russia's interest in further developing and strengthening bilateral relations;
🟠El-Sisi stressed the need to continue efforts to ensure stability, unity, and sovereignty in the Middle East;
🟠Both parties discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Egypt and Russia, as well as prospects for development in various fields—political, commercial, and investment;
🟠The participants discussed the plans to establish a Russian industrial zone within the Suez Canal Special Economic Zone, alongside the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant project;
🟠The implementation of a two-state solution and the creation of a Palestinian state in accordance with international law is the only path to just and lasting peace in the region, El-Sisi noted;
🟠The Egyptian president reaffirmed his country's support for all efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis and establish global peace.
