Russia Upgrades Su-34 Fighter Jets Based on Combat Experience in Ukraine, Says Manufacturer
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has delivered a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Defense Ministry while continuing to modernize the aircraft based on its performance in the special military operation, UAC said in a statement.
Engineers are using data from the combat zone to improve the aircraft, making them "even more effective for solving current and future tasks," UAC CEO Vadim Badeha stated.
UAC teams are maintaining a high production pace to meet state defense order requirements, the corporation emphasized.
The Su-34 has become a symbol of Russian air power, valued for its reliability, long range, and versatile weapons capability, according to conglomerate Rostec.
Pilots describe the jet as a "workhorse" capable of destroying air targets while delivering precision strikes against heavily protected ground infrastructure.
