MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Western countries increasingly practice aggressive actions against the so-called "enemy from the East" during their military drills in Europe, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu said on Wednesday.
"The militarization of Europe is actively underway, spending on military drills becomes larger, and aggressive actions against the enemy from the East are practiced more often," Shoigu said at the meeting of the secretaries of the Commonwealth of Independent States security councils at the Rossiya National Center in Moscow.
The situation remains difficult, among other things, because Western countries continue to actively support Ukraine which "repeatedly shows its terrorist nature," Shoigu added.
