Russian Forces Wipe Out Ukrainian Assault Group Near Krasnoarmeysk: Correspondent
Troops of the “Center” battlegroup destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces assault group attempting to break into Krasnoarmeysk, reported a Sputnik correspondent who observed the operation via drone feed.
▪The group—over 10 fightrers—was spotted northwest of Krasnoarmeysk.
▪Russian forces hit them with heavy artillery.
▪FPV drone operators then eliminated the infantry unit.
▪As the Ukrainians retreated toward Hryshyne, they were fully destroyed.
Up to 5,500 Ukrainian troops remain encircled in the Krasnoarmeysk area of Russia's special military operation, according to Chief of Staff Gerasimov.
In late October, Putin ordered to ensure the passage of foreign journalists to visit areas in Krasnoarmeysk, Dimitrov, and Kupyansk, where Ukrainian forces are blockaded. The Ukrainian MFA threatened foreign journalists who may visit the districts with "reputation and legal consequences."
