Netherlands to Return 3,500-Year-Old Treasure to Egypt, Says PM Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof announced the decision during a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.🟠 The artifact, a stone sculpture, dates from the reign of Thutmose III (1479–1425 BCE). It depicts a high-ranking official from that period. 🟠The sculpture was likely stolen in Egypt during the Arab Spring unrest in 2011 and then illegally exported.
