US Strikes Ship in Caribbean, Killing Three ‘Narco-Terrorists’

A "lethal kinetic strike" targeted a ship suspected of transporting drugs, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced on his social media.

“This vessel—like EVERY OTHER—was known by our intelligence to be involved in illicit narcotics smuggling, was transiting along a known narco-trafficking route, and carrying narcotics,” he said.

Hegseth promised that the US department will “track [drug traffickers], map them, hunt them, and kill them.”

The operation is part of a series of deadly strikes carried out by Washington over the past two months to block the entry of narcotics by sea via the Pacific and the Caribbean.

The Venezuelan president has repeatedly stated that the country faces the most serious threat of a US invasion in 100 years.
