Ethiopian Artists’ Painting and Sculpture Exhibition Opens at Russian House
The artworks presented by Tesfaye Gashe, Tsegatsion Kifle, Tesfahun Kibru, and Amen Badeg, along with other art professionals, will be open to the public for one week in the Pushkin Hall, as reported by a Sputnik Africa’s correspondent.
The exhibition was opened with a speech by Russia’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Yevgeny Terekhin, who noted that relations between the two countries are growing in cultural ties, people-to-people contacts, and many other fields; he explained that such events play a significant role in elevating the relationship to a higher level.
He also stated that the Russian Center for Science and Culture is making a substantial contribution to strengthening the bond between the two countries and peoples.
For their part, the artists expressed that the event facilitated at the Pushkin Center inspires them to focus on works that help bring the two countries closer in the fields of culture and art.
