Ukraine in Africa: Smoke Screen for 'Management of Terror Implemented by NATO, US, and Europe:' Panafricanist
Kiev supports armed groups in Africa to counter Russia, which backs African governments in their antiterrorist fight, Egountchi Behanzin told Sputnik Africa.
Referring to the “Berezina” (a historical term evoking Napoleon’s catastrophic defeat and retreat during the 1812 Russian campaign) that the Ukrainian army is suffering against Russia in his view, the president of the African Black Defense League believes that NATO, the United States, and Europe are also struggling to defeat Moscow.
Lacking military success, Western powers seek to extend the conflict to Africa, targeting unprepared countries under the pretext of fighting terrorism.
Recalling the discrimination and violence suffered by Africans in Ukraine at the start of the conflict, Behanzin warned Kiev against spreading its strategy to Africa.
