Which African Countries Are Russia's Main Trade Partners?
Russia's main trading partners in Africa are four countries, accounting for approximately 70% of the country's trade turnover, Irina Abramova, Director of the Institute for African Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences, told Sputnik.
"First and foremost is Egypt, our main partner, whose share fluctuates between 30% and 40% depending on the year. Other countries include Algeria, Tunisia, and South Africa," she said.
In different years, Nigeria, Senegal , Côte d'Ivoire , and Morocco join the four main trading partners, Abramova noted.
