"I think we are finding those compromises that would work for all of the parties," Kiriill Dmitriev told US media.
Commenting on Trump's frustration with the negotiation process, Dmitriev observed that there's "quite a bit of misinformation about what's going on."
"I think we are reasonably close to a diplomatic solution that can be worked out," he added.
According to Dmitriev, the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict consists of "only a few elements":
Security guarantees for Ukraine, which Russia is willing to provide;
Addressing the territorial issue related to the Russian population attacked by Ukraine before the conflict;
The issue of Ukraine's neutrality, which is important for Russia's security.
