BRICS Wine Summit to Be Held for First Time at Russian Wine Forum: Russia's Winemakers Association
The summit will discuss issues related to the effective development of interstate cooperation among winemakers, viticulturists, and representatives of the wine tourism sector in BRICS countries, the Russian Vinegrowers And Winemakers Association said.
According to the association, winemakers and wine merchants from the interstate association will meet in Moscow on November 12.
It is noted that Russia is among the top three countries in terms of wine production growth rates, and international cooperation in the domestic wine industry is actively developing within the BRICS countries, many of which are also demonstrating positive dynamics in the wine market.
"Thanks to the meeting of representatives of the national winemakers' associations and Russian government agencies at the Russian Wine Forum, the initiative for cooperation between winemakers and wine traders from BRICS countries, put forward at the Russian Wine Forum in 2024, is taking shape," the association emphasized.
