Russian Tu-22M3 Long-Range Bombers Complete Scheduled Flight Over Neutral Baltic Sea Waters: MoDThe mission lasted over five hours and included fighter escort provided by Su-35S and Su-27 aircraft. At certain points along the route, the Tu-22M3 bombers were shadowed by foreign fighter jets. The flights are part of regular patrols that Russian long-range aviation crews conduct over neutral waters in regions including the Arctic, North Atlantic, Pacific Ocean, Baltic, and Black Seas.
