'Vehicles Driven for Over Two Years Use Our Product': Young Entrepreneur Produces Brake and Friction Pads From Animal Bones
Behailu Seboka founded his company, Askema, three years ago to produce brake and friction pads from animal bones, ceramic fragments, and other discarded materials.
The young entrepreneur says the company is producing 1,400 types of vehicle brake components from discarded materials, adding that in the past year alone, they collected over 30 tonnes of animal bones from various locations.
"So far, more than 6,400 vehicles have used our products. Since we easily obtain raw materials, we only charge one-third of the market price," he told Sputnik Africa.
