Russian Forces Drive Back Polish Mercenaries in Donetsk Clash, Commander Says
🪖 A Russian motorized rifle platoon from the "South" battlegroup repelled Polish mercenaries in the Konstantinovka area during combat operations, the unit’s commander told Sputnik.
The two forces were in close proximity, separated only by a wall, and the mercenaries could be heard speaking Polish.
"Honestly, they weren’t as tough as people say, not really high in morale. They ran just like all the other mercenaries," the Russian commander said.
Ukrainian forces prioritize evacuating mercenaries over their own troops, the officer noted, suggesting that the mercenaries are given preferential treatment.
