Hamas Denies US' Accusations of Violating Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
The Palestinian movement also noted in a statement:
▪The facts on the ground demonstrate that the occupation authorities "have formed, armed, and funded criminal gangs in the Gaza Strip."
▪Hamas urges the US administration "to stop echoing the occupation rhetoric and instead focus on halting violations of the ceasefire agreement."
▪False accusations against the movement "align with Israeli propaganda and serve as a cover for the ongoing crimes and aggression committed by the occupation authorities."
On Saturday, the US State Department said that the US had informed the guarantor countries of the Gaza peace agreement about an "imminent" ceasefire violation by Hamas.
