Ghana's Reserve Assets Are Rising Consistently Due to State Program, Central Bank Says
The CB restored its foreign reserves to an amount sufficient to cover four and a half months of imports, overcoming 2022 economic crisis aggravations, Governor Johnson Asiama noted.
According to the official, the country's gold board known as GoldBod established in April, helped:
🟠centralize gold purchase and export;
🟠generate about $8 billion;
🟠secure foreign currency earnings for Ghana.
