Four people were detained, including the direct perpetrator, led by a Daesh* functionary, who was placed on the international wanted list by Russian and Uzbek authorities, Russia's FSB said.
The Daesh functionary was implicated in the assassination of General Igor Kirillov, which was orchestrated by Ukrainian military intelligence, the FSB pointed out.
ℹ Kirillov and his assistant were killed in December 2024 when an explosive device hidden in a scooter parked near the entrance of their building detonated in Moscow.
