Just over a month ago, a baby Diana monkey—a species listed in the Red Book and named after the Roman goddess of beauty and hunting—was born at the zoo. These monkeys live in the jungles of West Africa.

For the first few days, the baby never left its mother, clinging tightly to her fur. Now, curious and energetic, the little one is already winning visitors’ hearts—climbing around the enclosure, playing with its older sister, and happily tasting adult food, from lettuce to yogurt, the zoo said.
