US Statements on Possible Tomahawk Missile Deliveries to Ukraine 'Lit the Fuse,' French Geopolitical Analyst Says
"Vladimir Putin very clearly stated […]: if the West fires from Ukrainian territory, then the West is a direct belligerent and will be struck on its own territory—not on Ukrainian soil," François Martin told Sputnik Africa.
There is obviously a danger—not only because of the Tomahawks, but "especially due to the excessively warlike stance of the West," added the author of "Ukraine: A World Turning Point."
Vladimir Putin previously stressed that Kiev’s use of Tomahawk missiles would harm Russia–US relations and pointed out that deploying these missiles in Ukraine would be impossible without direct involvement of US military personnel.
