Somalia Backs Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement as Step Toward Justice for Palestine, MFA Says
Somalia reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to an independent, sovereign state and stressed that lasting peace must be just, comprehensive, and rooted in international law, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Somalia also praised regional and international efforts behind the agreement.
The deal reached between Hamas and Israel aims to:
🟠Enforce a ceasefire;
🟠Ensure humanitarian aid delivery;
🟠Secure the release of prisoners and detainees;
🟠Resume political negotiations under international mediation.
