Putin Arrives in Tajikistan for Three-Day State Visit, Sputnik Correspondent Reports
During the visit, the Russian president will participate in the second Central Asia-Russia Summit and a hold meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State.
Putin will also hold, Putin will hold talks with Tajik President Rahmon and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
A number of important documents will be adopted, including:
🟠cooperation programs to strengthen border security at external borders,
🟠counter terrorism and extremism,
🟠a concept for military cooperation until 2030.
Furthermore, decisions are planned to be approved on the establishment of the "CIS Plus" format and granting the Shanghai Cooperation Organization observer status in the Commonwealth.
