Ursula von der Leyen calls EU no-confidence vote a Russian 'trap'
The EU Commission head has described recent attempts to initiate a no-confidence vote against her in the European Parliament a "trap" set by Russian authorities.
“Their goal is to sow divisions, spread disinformation, and weaken our resolve while we fight among ourselves,” she warned, urging EU lawmakers to avoid falling into this "trap."
The Patriots for Europe faction claims her leadership has led to energy price hikes, closed businesses, and farmer struggles, calling her tenure a failure.
