Confederation of African Football Announces Profit, Reversing Years of Deficits
CAF reported a $9.48 million net profit for the 2023-2024 financial year, attributing this success to:
🟠increased commercial revenues,
🟠new sponsors,
🟠the implementation of strict financial controls.
CAF's reported revenue reached $166.42 million, and the organization has prioritized its expenditures, allocating:
🟠$81 million for competition prize money,
🟠$19 million for tournament organization,
🟠$35 million for football development,
🟠$21 million for governance and administration.
CAF is close to finalizing a long-term marketing and television deal worth $1 billion, CAF President Patrice Motsepe announced.
